Recourse Capital was founded in Toronto to address a gap in the Canadian legal market: sophisticated companies and law firms with meritorious claims were forced to abandon them due to cost, or settle prematurely due to liquidity pressure.
We are building Canada’s premier litigation finance firm. Our capital enables plaintiffs to pursue claims on their merits, not their budgets. Our non-recourse structures allow companies to monetize pending recoveries without adding debt to their balance sheets.
We are not a law firm. We are not a bank. We are a specialized capital provider focused exclusively on legal risk.
